Pegher comes with 14 years of planning strategic communications and editing alumni magazines — including Denison Magazine. Denison Magazine is considered among the best in the industry and has won several awards from CASE, the Council for the Advancement of Education. Pegher’s CASE awards include a CASE 2006 Newsweek-Robert Sibley Magazine of the Year Award, the Gold Medal for Magazine Publishing Improvement, a Silver for Visual Design in Print, and in 2007, he won the Award of Excellence from the University and College Designers Association. In addition to transforming Denison Magazine into a national standard for which many alumni magazines have patterned themselves after, perhaps the most evident of his success has been the increase in the Denison University annual fund since the redesign of Denison Magazine.
